Refugee Action – Colchester is a voluntary organisation working with refugees, asylum seekers
and people with no recourse to public funds.
Our goal is to encourage successful integration into a new society through empowerment, education and employment.

Successful Integration
For many refugees and asylum seekers the goal successful integration represents a significant journey in its own right.
Refugee Action – Colchester work to support individuals and their families through this journey, employing a process based on compassion and understanding, designed to deliver support, education and a route to employment and full integration into their new community.

Meet the RA-C Team
Refugee Action – Colchester was originally created to support refugees and asylum seekers in Calais in the summer of 2015…
Engaging in that situation has made us aware of the largely unseen issues faced by refugees and asylum seekers living in Colchester and the surrounding area.
Our remit has evolved to address that local need too – and we’ve formalised our group as the social enterprise Refugee Action – Colchester CIC to help us to deliver ever more, much needed, support.
